Our passengers are hikers in Jotunheimen, cabin owners or daily tourists that just want to experience this very rare kind of transportation.
Bombardier Snowmobiles was made by the Canadian company Bombardier from mid 1940s to the beginning of the 1980s. These snowmobiles are today primarily collectables and used for recreational reasons. We own 12 of these snowmobiles and we have the largest collection known in Norway and maybe one of the largest in the world. They are very well maintained and updated regurarely. The whole fleet of 12 snowcoaches operate the route from Tyin to Eidsbugarden. Most of the snowmobiles is powered by an Edelbrock 5,7L V8 engine with 310hp while some still have an older Chrysler Industrial 5,4L V8 engine with 180hp. All snowmobiles features a 3-speed automatic transmissions. Our oldest vehicle is from 1954 and the most recent is a 1976. Each snowmobiles can carry 12-14 people with luggage and skis.
