Looking for a hotel in Jotunheimen National park? Find some of our suggestions bellow from where you can start your different activities. Most properties are located around the park, as logistics and legal restrictions limit building and traveling within the park.

We also have a list of several hiking cabins from The Norwegian Trekking Association (DNT) you might want to look into here. Most full service DNT properties will have the same service as a full service hotel.

Bergo Hotel

Stay comfortable in this cosy hotel in the center of Beitostølen. From here you get access to all of the exciting things that take place in Beitostølen such as alpine ski lifts and slopes, trails and much more!


Bessheim Fjellstue og Hytter

Bessheim is a lovely mountain lodge located very close to Besseggen. Since its opening in 1890, Bessheim has welcomed tourists and travellers that have taken the journey to Valdres and along the National Tourist Road. It is known for its delicious cuisine, based on local produce and tradition, and considered one of the best places to eat in the area.



Bygdin Høifieldshotell

Bygdin Fjellhotel is situated south of Jotunheimen, near the lake "Bygdin" in an altitude of 3910 ft. It is 12km north of Beitostølen and 22 km from Besseggen. The main road 51 over Valdresflya passes the hotel. The Hotel was built in 1912, and in 1955 and 1965 extensions were added on. The hotel has an old-fashioned warm style,which has been maintained throughout the entire building. Bygdin Fjellhotel is situated at the boarder of Jotunheimen National Park, with a view to fantastic scenery over the mountains with peaks up to 6900ft.



Dovregubbens Hall

In the heart of beautiful Dovre mountain, close to E6 and 20 km north of Dombås, you will find Dovregubbens Hall with its unique atmosphere, right at the doorstep of Dovre national park. The legend of the Mountain King, Dovregubben, lives in the walls of our traditional “Gudbrands”-style buildings and their 100-year history.


Eidsbugarden

The historic Eidsbugarden Hotel from 1868 is located next to Lake Bygdin and the Eidsbugarden harbour in the Jotunheimen mountain area. Guests at Hotel Eidsbugarden can enjoy rustic gourmet specialities in the brightly decorated restaurant.

Grønolen Fjellgard

With a peaceful location in the Valdres Region, this hotel is on the doorstep of Jotunheimen National Park. It offers a restaurant, spa and rooms with flat-screen TVs. Hjerkinn Fjellstue

Hjerkinn Fjellstue og Fjellridning have long traditions hosting travellers, with a history of providing friendly, high-quality accommodation for hikers and visitors for 1200 years.

One or several nights in fresh, crisp mountain air is good for you! Hjerkinn offers hotel rooms, apartments, a pilegrim hut and camping facilities. You can eat at the restaurant or cater for yourself, whatever you prefer.


Kamben Høyfjellshotell

Kamben is a great starting point for trips to the West Coast with its magical fjords (Sognefjorden and Geirangerfjorden) and mountains.

Klingenberg Hotel

Located on Sognefjord in the town of Årdalstangen is this waterfront hotel. It features free Wi-Fi, a fitness centre with sauna, as well as a terrace with fjord views. A flat-screen satellite TV and minibar are offered in each Klingenberg Hotel room. All have a bathroom with toiletries. Some include views over the fjord.


Leirvassbu Fjellstue

By the shores of Lake Leirvatnet, stunning mountain scenery and ski territory surrounds this lodge. The town of Lom is 45 km away while there is an on-site restaurant. Leirvassbu’s restaurant serves a daily 3-course menu using local ingredients.

Lemonsjøen Fjellstue

Lemonsjø Mountain Lodge is a typical little cabin in Jotunheimen National Park. It is located next to Lemonsjø Lake. Many popular trails run via Lemonsjø and the friendly hosts accommodate both hikers and cyclists during the popular summer months.



Memurubu

Memurubu can be found at the end or start of the famous Besseggen hiking trail. The lodge is originally an old mountain pasture dating back to 1872. The lodge is accessible by boat from Gjendesheim, or by hiking th famous Besseggen trail.

Radisson BLU Mountain Resort Beitostølen

A traditional first-class full service resort situated at the bottom of the slopes in the centre of Beitostølen.



Ruten Fjellstue

Ruten Mountain Lodge lies in Gudbrandsdalen, one of the most iconic valleys in Norway. You'll find the lodegs in the Espedalen valley, next to Bjørnsonvegen. This area also goes by the name of Elgland because one of Europe's largest moose herds cross here.



Spiterstulen turisthytte

Spiterstulen is a former mountain farm, now a tourist station in the valley Visdalen in Lom in Oppland, Norway. Spiterstulen lies 1,100 metres above sea level, between the two highest mountains in Norway, Galdhøpiggen and Glittertind. It is the largest tourist cabin in Jotunheimen, with around 230 beds.

Storefjell Resort Hotel

Storefjell Resort is a full service hotel, located on the mountain Golsfjellet,between Hallingdal and Valdres. It is open both winte and summe and is an excellent starting point to discover the region and its many activities.


Toftemo Turiststasjon

Toftemo Turiststasjon offers everything from hotelrooms, cabins, camping and glamping! In addition to good food and unique accommodation the area also offer great hiking and biking trails.


Trolltun gjestegård

Trolltun offers hotel, hostel, cabins and restaurant service. They are open year around and a great starting point for the many activities at Dovre and Dombås.


Turtagrø Hotel

Turtagrø and Hurrungane have traditions dating back to the 1880s, and are known as the place of birth for mountain sports in Norway. Today, Turtagrø continues to be a center for climbing, mountaineering and the back-country skiing.


Tyin Filefjellstuene

Filefjellstuene is located in amid beautiful surroundings, in the heart of Tyin/Filefjell. It is a lively place both during summer and winter as there a re loads of activities to do here such as ski touring, cross country skiing, alpine skiing, and trekking. Welcome



Tyinholmen Høyfjellsstuer

Tyinholmen is one of the most traditional places in Jotunheimen. Since it's opening in 1892 it has served as an excellent starting point to discover Jotunheimen. It lies at the North end of the Tyin Lake.
