Kamben Høyfjellshotell

Kamben Høyfjellshotell is situated at 950 masl is surrounded by beautiful scenery.

In activity since 1836, Kamben catches the eye for its room’s décor: elegant peasant romantic style – timber walls, typical rosemaling (“rose painting”) – you can almost picture yourself whilst fixing the fireplace on a chill autumn night and sipping homemade whiskey... Speaking of whiskey, the hotel arranges whiskey tasting for groups, and the thing didn’t go unnoticed in Scotland (check the review of Kamben on The Herald Scotland). However, if alcohol is not your cup of tea, you can still play the English lord by checking the terrain around during a hare hunt! Against animal hunting? Try another hunt: stolpejakt! Don’t worry, no living animal will be harmed during this activity! Where to find this paradise on Earth? Among Hemsedal, Gol and Valdres, three wonderful skiing destination, but there’s much more than ski in the area, hike and cycling are equally phenomenal!
