In the summer, MS Bitihorn, a passenger boat that has been operating on Lake Bygdin since 1912, provides a unique and picturesque way to access Eidsbugarden from the Valdresflye road on the east side of the lake Bygdin. The boat connects several points along the lake, including Torfinnsbu and Bygdin fjell hotel, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

WINTER
During the winter months, when the road to Eidsbugarden is closed due to heavy snowfall, the settlement remains accessible via snowcoaches. These specialized vehicles provide a reliable and adventurous way for visitors to experience the serene beauty of the snow-covered landscape.
