How to get here
From Oslo (approx. 4.5–5 hours)
- Take the E6 north to Otta (about 3.5 hours from Oslo).
- In Otta, turn onto Rv 15 (also signed as Fv 15 / Strynefjellsvegen), which leads directly to Lom (about 1 hour).
From Bergen (approx. 5–6 hours)
- Follow the E16 east toward Voss and continue toward Lærdal.
- After passing through Lærdal, continue on Rv 5 to Sogndal.
- From Sogndal, drive Rv 55 (Sognefjellet) to Lom.
Note: Rv 55 across Sognefjellet is one of Norway’s National Scenic Routes—spectacular but subject to weather conditions, especially in winter.
From Trondheim (approx. 4–4.5 hours)
- Take the E6 south toward Dombås.
- Continue on the E6 to Otta.
- At Otta, follow Rv 15 west to Lom.
